Episcopal Divinity School (EDS) Sabbatical Stay
The EDS Sabbatical Stay is designed for lay or ordained individuals of all faith traditions who are active in ministry and are looking for spiritual and educational renewal.
The Sabbatical Stay varies in length from two weeks to four months and includes library privileges, the availability of a faculty facilitator for advice on academic work, and an invitation to participate in activities of the EDS community including worship, special events, lectures, and receptions.
The fee for a Sabbatical Stay is $300. Housing is additional, based on availability; housing fees vary according to type of accommodation.
With permission of the instructor, it is possible to audit up to two classes without additional charge. CEUs can be arranged. If a course credit is preferred, the normal per course fee will be charged.
Initial application is made to the Housing Office. Applicants will be invited to write a brief goal statement for submission to the Academic Dean.
