This retreat is an extension of the work of Parker Palmer and the Centre for Courage and Renewal. Using a Circle of Trust® we will explore opportunities for each of us to attend to our primary relationships to the world around us.
Time will be spent in guided outdoor activities, in solitude and community, connecting to the many forms of life around Tatamagouche Bay (sea, sky, earth, plants and animals.) Story, music/song, video and text will help us reflect on our unique response to these experiences.
We invite you to immerse yourself in the abundant wisdom of Earth community and through this exchange renew your abilities to serve people and the planet from your own context.
Leadership:
Brian Braganza: is a facilitator and experiential educator specializing in community resiliency and sustainability. Brian is a Courage & Renewal® Facilitator in preparation. Brian has extensive experience leading nature and outdoor programs, and lives in a straw-bale house.
Becky McKenna: is an experienced educator from elementary school to university settings, a spiritual guide, former retreat Coordinator at Tatamagouche Centre and a Courage & Renewal® Facilitator. She is currently engaged in a project of soil and soul in Three Brooks, NS.
Brian and Becky are both Program Resource Group (PRG) and have been trained by Parker J. Palmer and the Center for Courage & Renewal. (www.couragerenewal.org)
