Tuesday, September 23 — Sunday, September 28
Led by the monks of Saint John’s Abbey and Ward Bauman
Presented by the Friends of St. Benedict
For many people who would never consider themselves monastic, a Benedictine Experience cultivates and nourishes that monastic dimension within them. This carefully planned week is a unique attempt to bring together in community men and women, lay and clerical, to study and experience the balanced way of life envisaged in the Rule of Benedict. Giving attention to body, mind and spirit, participants come together in community and take part in ordered days of prayer, study, work and leisure.
Registration for this event is through the Friends of St. Benedict in Washington, DC. They have just announced a new executive director and a broader outreach. Visit their site for more information.
