Come learn and share with some exceptional professional photographers!

In our 11th year, we look forward to taking this program to a new, deeper level of engagement and practice. Creativity exercises, reflection, sharing and analysis: this program aims to explore the act of photography as both a meditative process and one of self-discovery.

For returning participants, we welcome your growth, challenges and experiences since the last time. For new participants, this program offers you a renewed version of a tried and true process that will encourage development of your own artistry and a contemplative approach.

All levels of experience are welcome to this safe, supportive learning community. Digital camera required.

Program Cost: $400 ($245 tuition+$155 meals/accommodations)

Leadership

Silver Frith

Silver Frith is a graduate of Holland College School of Visual Arts, and studied photography at the University of Saskatchewan and NSCAD University. Her work is in private collections in Canada and the US. She exhibits regionally.

Margot Metcalfe

Margot Metcalfe has been an educator for over forty years and is also a contemplative photographer with work in public collections nationally and private collections around the world (www.secordgallery.com). Margot lives her life and art to celebrate awe and beauty in the world around her.

Gordon Williams

Gordon Williams, Program Resource Group (PRG) facilitator. Gordon is a graphic designer, photographer and artist. His works have appeared in regional and national publications and in private collections in Canada and abroad. He is a graduate of the NB College of Craft and Design.
