  • Fundamental questions that arise in the search for meaning in our world today: how do I find a sense a sense of personal identity and worth, belonging and purpose?
  • Some issues that arise: the new technologies and their impact; isolation, loneliness, and the need for community; gender identity and roles; the need for compassion and kindness in a competitive society; the struggle with suffering; the challenge of climate change.
  • Resources from spirituality and religion, as well as story, music, and other art forms, may be helpful in dealing with today’s world and the questions that arise in living in that world.
