John the Baptist proclaims, “I have baptized you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit” (Mark 1:8). What does this mean? What happens to us as we emerge from this new baptism? How do these two baptisms connect in our lives, as well as connect our lives to the sacred font of all cleansing and creating? These are some of the important questions to be raised and pondered during this retreat.
