Invite Spirit into the process of creativity using meditative drawing methods to create beautiful abstract images. Learn simple pattern making, Zentangle* and other contemplative mark-making that encourages and nurtures creative flow and inner quiet. Experience a journey into creation, play and mindfulness with simple tools, where you’ll learn to let go of expectations, tame your inner critic and pay attention to process over

No art skills are needed whatsoever, just an opening to trust that we ALL are capable of making and sharing our gifts.
*Zentangle® is an easy to learn, relaxing and intuitive method to draw extraordinary pieces of black and white abstract images with structured patterns that lends itself well to mindfulness practices and meditation.

Supplies to bring:
— your favorite black fine line pens: one thin .01-.03 and one thicker .08
— mechanical pencil .7mm, with refills
— white eraser
— mixed media paper art journal for experiments and play
Optional:
— any of your favorite color pens, pencils, markers or watercolor paints

Sadelle Wiltshire is a Veriditas Certified Labyrinth Facilitator, a Mixed Media/Textile/Jewellry Artist as well as a Certified Zentangle® Teacher from Putney, Vermont. She has taught a
wide variety of art workshops across the US and as far as the UK, in secular and non-secular venues. Sadelle’s art work and ministry is influenced by her Quaker faith and she enjoys creating, practicing and facilitating art with a view towards mindfulness and contemplation. Ann Coakley is a clinical social worker. In her work as a therapist she helps people build skills toward a regular practice of mindfulness, including grounding tools, meditation,
compassionate visualization and meditative drawing methods. Ann is also Certified Zentangle® Teacher and has co-led workshops with Sadelle Wiltshire at a variety of venues.
