An Introduction to Centering Prayer

Friday, November 17 – Sunday, November 19, 2017

Led by Br. Bernard Delcourt

Centering Prayer is a simple method of prayer rooted in ancient Christian practice that opens us to God’s presence and divine healing. It is simply moving deep within ourselves, in silence, saying nothing, asking for nothing, just being and consenting to God’s presence and action within us.

We will learn what Centering Prayer is and get to practice it several times through the weekend. This silent retreat will allow for quiet solitude in community with time for reflection. It will also allow you to join the monks in their cycle of public prayer, the Daily Office throughout your visit.

Brother Bernard Delcourt is a long-time practitioner of Centering Prayer and other forms of contemplative prayer.

Cost $275, Deposit $80.
