The dictionary defines the word ‘advent’ as: the act of coming upon a scene (Merriam-Webster). At this busy time of year, what kinds of scenes are you witnessing and are they illustrative of the kind of Advent and Christmas celebrations you hope for or anticipate?
Come to the Centre and join with others as we enter into Advent softly, gently, and mindfully. Give yourself the gift of a day away from busyness. In community, in prayer, in contemplation and in song, we will prepare ourselves to ‘come upon the scene’ at the heart of the Christmas story.
Program Cost:$50 ($30 tuition+$20 meal / snacks)
