Join award-winning author Stephanie Domet for a 2-day workshop to kick start National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). Stephanie took up the NaNoWriMo task of writing a novel in a month back in 2003, and now she’s sharing her tips and tricks on getting started with anyone who’s up for the challenge.

Stephanie Domet

Stephanie DometStephanie Domet is a writer-broadcaster who lives in Halifax. She wrote her first novel Homing for NaNoWriMo 2003, and it won the Margaret and John Savage First Book Award at the 2008 Atlantic Book Awards ceremony. Stephanie is currently working on her second novel FallsyDownsies. Homing was optioned by Lady Hammond Entertainment in 2009, and she’s eagerly awaiting the big-screen version. Stephanie has been a mentor for the Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia’s Mentorship Program. She is the host of CBC Radio’s Mainstreet and Atlantic Airwaves. www.stephaniedomet.com
