Congregational Care
This workshop will focus on understanding the dynamics of the lead pastor-associate pastor relationship. Building healthy relationships and understanding each other’s roles enhances the effectiveness of leaders. This training will be most effective if all members of the team or pair can be present, but helpful skills can be gained even if only one person is able to attend. Areas of focus include the following:
- Transitioning into the lead pastor and associate role
- Personality traits and leadership styles – understanding the person
- Good communication and feedback skills
- Conflict resolution
- Family systems and congregational life patterns
