Women Weaving Work and Worship
Practice weaving, spinning, knitting, dyeing, and other fabric arts with women who gather yearly to work creatively with fibers and share their spiritual journeys. Step away from your daily routine and learn new skills, create beautiful products, share your stories, and have fun. Bring basic skills in the craft you choose and your own materials, tools, and projects. Sara Knisely Bixler is an avid fiber artist working at the Manning’s Hand Weaving School in East Berlin (PA). She holds a B.S. in K-12 art education and a B.F.A. from Edinboro University of PA. Sara is experienced in many facets of fiber art – including raising fiber-yielding animals, spinning, dyeing, knitting, and weaving.
