James Roghair served nine years as interim pastor in three denominations. He was certified as a PC (U.S.A.) interim ministry specialist in 2004. Healthy congregations training with Bowen family systems theory, conflict management/mediation training, and sexual misconduct prevention/follow-up are areas of expertise. Informing his teaching is broad pastoral experience of 40 years — including inner city African-American, Alaska Iñupiaq (Eskimo) and suburban white churches.
Carol Shellenberger graduated from San Francisco Theological Seminary and was ordained to a counseling ministry before becoming an intentional interim pastor. She served as interim pastor for eight congregations in Northern California and joined the interim/transitional ministry faculty in 2002.
