Welcome to a weekend where we will reflect on the stories of our spiritual journeys and on how they give us courage for our lives. Together we will discover what supports and guides us through the joys and struggles of our journeys as women. We will sing, dance, and sit in circle time, to respectfully listen to and experience the commonalities and differences that speak of who we are. We will have opportunities to speak and to listen, and to build relationships that will guide our ways forward as women, through sharing deep truths from our unique spiritual paths.
Program Cost: $335 ($180 tuition+$155 meals/accommodations)

Leadership
Miigam’ agan
Miigam’agan is a Mi’kmaw traditional teacher and spiritual leader.
Her life-work is dedicated to supporting empowerment for women, youth, families and communities and preserving and teaching Wabanaki culture and spirituality. She is also volunteering and serving Clanmothers/Elders throughout Wabanaki and Turtle Island, advocating the culture and values of physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
Shirley Childs
Shirley is a spiritual guide committed to justice work and to encouraging others on their spiritual journeys, and a member of the United Church.
Trudy Watts
Trudy Watts, Program Resource Group (PRG) facilitator. Trudy has been involved in anti-nuclear, environmental justice, First Nations and Latin-American solidarity, Green Party and diversity campaigns since the 1980’s.
Trudy is an avid gardener and herbalist. Tatamagouche Centre’s Living Traditions Herb Garden, started by Trudy in 2006, expresses her interest in honouring cultural knowledge of medicinal plants.
