WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: A workshop for leaders of youth and for those interested in deepening their skills for ministry with youth and young adults. There will be opportunities to connect with other youth leaders and to share visions and successes as well as a variety of models for moving youth ministry out of conventional “youth group” approaches and into engagement in ministry with youth and young adults.
LEADER: Doris Kizinna is the Conference Minister for Youth, Young Adults and their Leaders for BC Conference. She has been engaged in Youth Ministry for the past 22 years and has written: God Deep, Spiritual Practices for Youth Ministry. She is also the Director of World Pilgrim Global Education and leads Pilgrimages to India, Cuba and Guatemala. She lives in Fort Langley, BC and practices creating places of beauty, community and spirit whenever she can.
