Young Sojourners Weekend: Awakening Hope
with Su McLeod and Scott McLeod
for youth and young adults ages 13-25

Young people are the future of the church”
“You are the future of the church”

Who hasn’t heard this before? Do you feel it? But what about the generation before us? Are they still the future of the church? Do they see themselves as the future of the church?

How does the hope of the church live beyond us as young people and into the community?
How can we awaken the generation before us to consider its role and place in the church tomorrow as we consider our role and place in the church today?

Su McLeodThis weekend we will gather as the church today to awaken the hope within the generations before us; together we are the future. We will spend time in prayer and worship, we will sing, we will play, we will share meals together and we will complete work projects on site to help the Centre prepare for summer.

SU McLEOD’s ministry in the Diocese of BC is to accompany, resource, empower and enable children, youth, families and parishes in their journeys of faith and discovery. She enjoys adventure and taking the road less traveled, riding her motorcycle, walking and photography. Su is mum to Theo, wife to Scott, treat-giver and dog-walker to Feasgar!

Scott McLeodSCOTT McLEOD is the Coordinator of Online Ministries for the Diocese of British Columbia. Scott was born and raised in Victoria where he attended Christ Church Cathedral with his family while growing up. He enjoys riding his motorcycle, playing music, and is involved in ministry in and outside of the church.
