- empowered in your own abilities
- equipped to holistically support and form youth on their spiritual journey
- confident in making quick, in the moment, decisions when faced with urgent issues
- ready to advocate values/goals/needs/supports for youth ministry to wider church communities and leadership
- supported by a network of youth ministry workers and peers
Course Instructor: Lauren Odile Pinkney
A seasoned youth work professional with nearly 15 years experience in both secualr and faith-based organizations. with over 5 years of dedicated education in the field, Lauren has worked hard to become highly effective in this area, with diverse experience across many settings such as schools, prisons, unhoused youth, parish, and regional youth ministry. This breadth of experience has given her a deep understanding of the challenges and complexities young people and their youth workers face today.
