TheoProbe XXXII continues the holistic practices of scholarship, physical exercise, free time, worship, collegiality and relaxation in the splendor of the Colorado Rockies. Your day begins with breakfast, worship and a one-hour presentation on relevant biblical readings. It continues with free time for downhill or cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating or lounging around. In late afternoon, we gather for fellowship, an evening meal, a one-hour presentation followed by a Q and A session and discussion time, and evening worship. We invite you to feed your mind and ministry, get refreshed, connect with longtime friends and meet new ones.

Study Topics:

Martin Luther — Pastoral Resources for Today
Martin Luther – theologian, reformer, polemicist – was also a pastor. His many writings related to pastoral work can spur reflection and renewal today. The presentations will center around two different themes: (1) Luther’s catechisms as resources for the Lenten season and (2) Luther on prayer. The focus will be on practical pastoral resources for today.

Romans: Classic Text, Contemporary Manifesto for the Church

With the exception of the four gospels, no other book of the New Testament has had as much impact on the life of the church and the individual as Romans. The book sets forth a message of God’s grace and love for both the believer and the world—and the message of God’s demand for the believer. Classic texts of Romans will be highlighted and discussed, along with suggestions for a study of Romans in the parish.
