The medicine wheel is a symbol of the universe and teaches us about reality and how all things are connected. It guides us through a wholistic understanding of our connectedness; for the gifts humanity has been given which are rooted in our ancient world cultures.
There is a resurgence and need for Medicine Wheel teachings to come into the light, where there is no hierarchy, only respect, interrelationship, and love. A sacred place for everybody and everything. Join us for this week-long course on the unceded lands of the Secwepemc people.
Join Barbara Callihoe on a journey through a First Nations lens, with stories, art and nature, and come to deepen our understanding of the Circle, the gifts of the medicine wheel, and again walk in a good and kind way with our Mother Earth.
Barbara believes that we are all here on mother earth to learn, to share, and to love.
Hands-on activities will express teachings of the Medicine Wheel. Through learning to respect all that Creator gives, participants will practice moose-hair tufting, quill work, and pine-needle basket making.
No participation in last year’s course or previous crafting experience required. All supplies provided. All session are on-the-land, accessible (drive down) and participants bring their own lawn-chairs.
