Guided Retreat: March 20-22, 2015
Forgiveness is only possible because God first forgives us; that divine grace comes to our aid in the hard work of forgiveness in every dimension of life.
Using Scripture and classic spiritual writings on forgiveness (from Ignatius of Loyola to Desmond Tutu), we will explore how we seek God’s forgiveness, welcome God’s forgiveness, and act as bearers of God’s forgiveness.
Led by Bp. Chilton R. Knudsen, the retired bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Maine. In retirement, she has been a missionary in Haiti, Interim Bishop in Kentucky, Assistant Bishop in New York, and a conflict mediator in church and non-profit settings.
