The Gospel According to “Calvin and Hobbes” Retreat
July 12–14, 2019
Spend a weekend in the outdoors exploring how Bill Watterson’s timeless comic strip addresses many of life’s big questions, including friendship, values, family, God, death, joy, and the sacredness of imagination. The weekend will offer a healthy mix of fun and faith, featuring fellowship built on laughter, storytelling, spiritual reflections on classic “Calvin and Hobbes” strips, thematic walks through the Trinity Forest, and even a game of Calvinball. Let’s go!
Led by Joseph Rose, Executive Director of Trinity Retreat Center, and Nevin Martell, author of Looking for Calvin and Hobbes.
This retreat is suitable for individuals and families, including children of all ages.
