June 24 – 26, 2015: The Barth Pastor’s Conference

Karl Barth’s life and theology is a rich resource for critically reflecting on the church’s mission in the twenty-first century. What is the Church’s mission in a post-colonial and postmodern context where the Church is largely seen as irrelevant at best or as a perpetrator of destruction and violence? The 2015 Barth Pastor’s Conference will explore Barth’s service as a pastor and examine his lifelong theological contributions in order to address this question. Through workshops, plenary presentations, and worship, participants will discover creative and stimulating resources for preaching, social engagement, and witnessing to the Gospel in the world today. This conference is offered in partnership with the Center for Barth Studies.   Please click here for more information.
