Leadership
David Armour
David Armour – Director of Philanthropy, The United Church of Canada and President, The United Church of Canada Foundation
As Director of Philanthropy, David’s role is to provide leadership and support to the congregational and individual stewardship programs that generate $300 million annually for the work of the church by inspiring and aligning the theology and practice of stewardship to the United Church’s commitment to living out God’s mission in the world. As President of the Foundation, his role is to provide leadership to the development and growth of the Foundation as a resource and service to individuals, families and organizations across the church.
Cheryl Curtis
Cheryl Curtis – Mission and Service Funding Officer
Cheryl has served as program staff and volunteer at all levels of the church. She brings extensive experience as a manager, educator, facilitator, and presenter to this ministry position in which she will provide leadership to the development and success of M&S. Her role is to maximize church’s commitment to our $30 million unified annual fund, and to strongly promote a compelling vision of the Mission and Service ministries of all the people of The United Church. She has a particular interest in connecting kids to M&S.
Susan Graham Walker
Susan Graham Walker – Manager, Congregational Giving and Stewardship
Susan brings a decade of experience in stewardship education and formation with denominational leadership and local churches. She has a deep commitment and enthusiasm for encouraging a stewardship lifestyle as individuals, within families and with the faith community. Her role is to promote the use of strong stewardship practices as a means to build local capacity to respond to God’s mission in the congregation and to the wider community and church.
Pam Harrison
Pam Harrison – Financial Development Officer
Pam’s passion for the United church is lived out in her with congregations in the Maritimes. Her work includes support and inspiration for stewardship development , PAR, planned giving and promoting the Mission and Service of the United Church. “We are blessed to be a blessing to others!”
Laura Hunter
Laura Hunter, Program Resource Group (PRG) facilitator, is the Justice and Stewardship Minister for Maritime Conference and a diaconal minister of The United Church of Canada.
