Spiritual Care for the Elderly 2015

November 6, 2015 - November 7, 2015

Nov 6 – Nov 7, 2015 Fri 7:00 PM – Sat 4:00 PM $250.00
This program is intended for those offering care and/or outreach to seniors (e.g. pastoral care providers, elders, community visitor programs, nursing home staff, VON).

Time will be spent in sharing experiences, in learning first-hand (via video-recorded “first voice” interviews) about the lived reality and challenges facing isolated seniors, with a special focus on spiritual needs. We will also work on developing communication skills of particular value for this population.  Participants will deepen their understanding of isolated seniors and will gain greater confidence in their ability to provide spiritual care for them.

Program Cost: $250 (tuition, meals & accommodation)
Local Price: $210 (without overnight)

We strive to make our programs as accessible as possible.
Please contact our Registrar to inquire about a bursary or payment plan.

Please register at least 2 weeks in advance to secure your place in this program.
