Four Seasonal Themes

May 2-4, 2013 Spring The Inner Way: we step (further) into the territory of integrity, authenticity and the search for true Self. This is the interior life of spirit and psyche. We experience this personal work in the context of a dedicated community of companions practicing holy listening, and immersing in reflection and spiritual practice.

Jul 3-5, 2013 Summer Our Web of Relationships: an opportunity to step into the holy ground of family, gender, sexuality, community, planet. We explore ourselves/Selves in the microcosm of our small gathered community and in radical new awareness of the way the universe is networked.

Oct 3-5, 2013 Fall The Wisdom Traditions: we are inspired in our own journey-to-wisdom by engaging the teachings, and exploring the spiritual practices of the saints and mystics of many traditions. We will practice holy listening together as we discern and shape our own spiritual practices.

Feb 27 – Mar 1, 2014 Winter A Difference in the World: we ask, “what is our path of compassion and justice?” The faithful use of personal resources including land, our bodies, water, and our money are important ways our beliefs are made manifest in the world. We will practice spiritual discernment as we seek to respond to the call, “How then shall we live?”

Our relationship with the Holy is the underlying consideration of all four events and the follow-up reading and projects.
