Seeing the Mystery: A Contemplative Photography Practice (5-day)

Program Description

Together we will explore the sacred through the eyes of the camera, as we slow down, rest, and rejuvenate. This is not a technical course, only a basic knowledge of your camera’s operation is required. Each session will have a time of meditation, visio divina, aha’s and questions as well as a time for photographing, discerning, journaling, sharing, and a new way of seeing. This is a respectful time of each other’s soul work.

Program Logistics

Duration: 5 days, mornings (9:00 AM to Noon), Monday through Friday

Ages: Adults

Program Leader

Rhonda Pigott Rhonda Pigott has been a United Church minister for the past twelve years. She’s a Spiritual Director trained by the Pacific Jubilee Program. She’s a member of Spiritual Directors International and longtime associate member of the Iona Community in Scotland. Her interest in photography and music have been lifelong passions. She completed her Diploma in Photography from Red Deer College in Alberta and has been an active member of the Central Alberta Photographic Society.

Cancellation Policy

Should a participant wish to withdraw from a registered program, they can do so with a full refund up to 30 days prior to their program start date. Program cancellations less than 30 days before the program start date are not refundable.

The Naramata Centre Society reserves the right to cancel programs should attendance not meet required minimums for financial viability. Should a program be canceled, participants will be notified more than 30 days before program start time and their program fees will be fully refunded.
