Have you been affected by Residential Schools? Do you want healing and reconciliation? Whether you are First Nations or non-native, this program is about reconciliation, healing and building right relations.Returning to Spirit, has proven to be ground-breaking in its approach to healing and reconciliation.
The program consists of 3 workshops. A 5-day workshop delivered to Aboriginal people (January 27 – Feb 1, 2013) with an identical 5-day workshop delivered to Church and non-Aboriginal people (January 20 – 25, 2013). The third being a 5 day process that brings both groups together for reconciliation (March 17 – 22, 2013).
Since it began in 2001, The Returning To Spirit – Residential School Healing & Reconciliation program has helped hundreds of people come to terms with their residential school experience and make a positive move forward in their lives.
Transforming the relationship between Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal/Church communities from an adversarial one to one of mutual understanding and healing is just one benefit of this unique program. In fact, it goes much further, producing transformational results that have been profoundly life changing and sustainable for individuals, families, and communities.
Collaboration is an essential component of how we develop partnerships with communities hosting the Returning to Spirit program. This collaboration involves First Nations, Metis, Inuit and non-aboriginal communities which includes clergy, religious orders and lay people from various denominations (e.g. Catholic, Anglican, Mennonite, United, Presbyterian, etc). The socio-economic status of these groups is diverse and varied.

Progams Cost to attend both workshops is $900. That inculdes two workshops from Sunday to Friday, 5 night accommodations in double occupancy, 3 meals & 3 snacks per day plus the program.
