Join the KAIROS network and a wide range of supporters as we look at ways to build an intergenerational, ecumenical movement for justice.

The Gathering:

Join the Re:Generate Facebook Group!

Re:Generate will foster dialogue across generations and denominations with a strong focus on movement building. We are ecstatic to have an amazing, diverse line-up of plenary speakers and workshop leaders, including:

Isaiah Kipyegon Toroitich Action by Churches Together (ACT) Alliance Kenya

Cindy Blackstock First Nations Child and Family Caring Society of Canada Canada

Our program also includes plenty of time for reflection, worship, music and fun. In our weekend together, we’ll build the friendships across generations, provinces and diverse experiences that will sustain our movement in the years to come.

Who should attend:

This year, Re:Generate will take place in Cornwall, Ontario and will bring together grassroots activists from Ontario (East of Thunder Bay), Quebec and the Atlantic provinces. Much of the content of the workshops and plenary sessions will be based on engaging young adults 18-35 and their supporters in looking at creative ways to build movements. While those younger than 18 are welcome to attend, KAIROS requires that they come with an adult who will function as a guardian.

How to Apply:

We encourage all those interested in the conference to apply. A conference registration fee of $250 per person includes the program, food and accommodation from Friday’s dinner to Sunday’s lunch at the NAV Centre in Cornwall. Each room is accessible, private and includes high-speed internet, a television, and a private bathroom.

Subsidies:

If cost is a barrier to attendance, please contact Andrew Kohan at [email protected] or by phone 1-877-403-8933 ext 222. Subsidies are available. KAIROS is able to reimburse travel for those who require it up to the following amounts:

  • Ontario: $200
  • Quebec: $250
  • Northern Canada: $500
  • Atlantic Provinces: $500

Preference will be given to young adults, low income people, people with disabilities, and people from Indigenous or racialized communities.
