Politics, Planning, and Parishes (WYP2701HF)
The Church leader looks at the building and grounds and sees deficit; the developer looks and sees opportunity! How might the Church capture their insights and put them to work for the Kingdom?
This course will show how urban congregations relate to urban planning, community services, and infrastructure. How can political processes be our friends? How might dual use, for example, support inner city ministries? This course will consider the political, physical and social contexts of an real-life
urban parish ministry. This class would also be excellent continuing education for church leaders in the GTA who are interested in maximizing the potential of their facilities and location.

Schedule: Saturdays, May 2, 9, 23, and 30, 2015.
