Accompanying youth on their journey is both a gift and a challenge. Margot Feyerer, Warren Litt and Anne Miller will explore with participants the pastoral role of the youth leader, offer opportunity to practice the essential skills required for listening deeply and responding appropriately to young people in pastoral care situations and discuss topics such as exercising healthy boundaries, duty of care and self-care for pastoral ministry.
All people in paid accountable ministry, youth leaders and volunteers, will benefit from this program. You will come away with lots of resources and practical tools to put to use in your ministry with youth as well as meet a network of colleagues and friends.
The Reverend Warren Litt is an Interfaith Chaplain, employed with the Spiritual Care department at the London Health Sciences Centre; a United Church minister and teaching supervisor with Canadian Association of Spiritual Care.
