September 14, 2020 – September 14, 2022

Offered by Vancouver School Of Theology

VST is called to educate and form thoughtful, engaged and generous Christian leaders for the church and the world in the 21st century.

Vancouver School of Theology continues its long-standing partnership with First Nations communities and its partnerships with inter-religious communities to make possible an MA in Indigenous and Inter-religious Studies.

The purpose of this degree is to provide students with the opportunity to engage in research and writing in a context where three major monotheistic faith traditions meet North American Indigenous traditions and vice versa. The degree will prepare students to participate in an increasingly pluralistic world and equip them to meet the challenges of religious diversity.

This is a 48 credit-hour degree. Working full-time it can be completed in two years, including summer school. Students have a maximum of seven years to complete this degree.

For distance students, one quarter of this degree must be accomplished onsite, and attendance at Orientation Week (September) is mandatory in one’s first year.

For all VST master’s degrees, an undergraduate degree is required; and there are two application deadlines per year: March 15th and October 15th. Students can begin their studies in September or January. To learn more about tuition and fees visit:
