May 2 to 5, 2013
Do you delight in vivid words and images that explore the difficult questions of faith, spirit and the place you call home? This retreat is for you. Lorna Crozier searches for words that express the things that matter to her. She recognizes the sacred and spiritual in her own life and environment. You will have an opportunity to explore some of Lorna’s latest poetry and also develop your own capacity to write in poetic forms that will change you and inspire others. You will draw on material based on your own life stories, local imagery and spiritual insights to write and read with one another under the affirming and perceptive guidance of one of Canada’s finest poets.
