Aimed at those who have completed our Latin in a Week course or at those have knowledge of Latin to GCSE standard. Read and understand extracts from the poets, comic playwrights and prose writers of Classical Latin literature.

Look at basic Latin verse, scansion and metre, and study selections from texts including Livy, the Pliny Letters, Juvenal’s Satire 3, Ovid, and Vergil’s Aeneid, with a sprinkling of ancient graffiti from Pompeii.

A week-long course led by Robert Parker.
