Workshop ID: G13S732
Dates: July 15, 2013 – July 21, 2013 Price: $415.00

The High Desert Spiritual Quest is about deepening our spirituality, experiencing the beauty of the wilderness, pushing ourselves beyond what we thought we were capable of, and opening ourselves to more profound reflections on who God calls us to be in the world. Our personal journey stories will be the starting point for our conversations as we build a community of exploration of the natural world around us and our soul’s inner longings. Seminar experiences will include several hikes between 1.5 and 5 miles over rough terrain, often off trail, an encounter with indigenous spirituality, including visits to sacred sites, and possibly a sweat lodge and Morning prayers and Mass at Christ in the Desert Monastery. Two nights camping under the stars with an opportunity to do an overnight wilderness sojourn.
• An encounter with sacred waters of the area.Due to the experiential nature of the seminar, each participant must fill out the attached application (click link below) and have a phone interview with one of the instructors. We invite you to share your sacred journey as we journey together through sacred landscapes.
