Epiphany Explorations 2015

Welcome to Epiphany Explorations, an annual conference that invites you to live out our faith, love our God and celebrate each other while singing our hearts out.
Since 2003, First Metropolitan United Church has invited clergy and laity from across North America to Victoria for an eclectic mix of presentations, music, and visual arts.
We will enjoy stimulating and provocative presentations by internationally known speakers. Speakers include prominent theologians, authors and writers from many Christian denominations, as well as speakers on social justice issues. Topics include church renewal, recent findings of theological scholarship, contemporary understandings of faith, as well as opportunities for spiritual nurture.
Each speaker’s presentation is framed with opening and closing live music, and on Sunday afternoon we celebrate with a moving and uplifting concert.
Our participants, many of whom have attended year after year, describe it as a highlight of their faith journey each year, offering “awe, inspiration, affirmation of gifts and insights, [and a] progressive understanding of Christianity in the world”.
