VST is called to educate and form thoughtful, engaged and generous Christian leaders for the church and the world in the 21st century.
This Diploma is designed primarily to provide and/or augment local training for ordained ministry, but it would also provide an ample foundation for lay ministry. Depending on the course configuration and delivery method selected, it could also provide seminary-transferable credits for students who later decide to obtain a Master of Divinity degree.
To complete the ISP – Diploma by Extension, students are to take 24 credits consisting of eight courses developed by VST faculty for the ISP – MDiv by Extension; attendance of ISP Summer School is required.
For all VST diplomas, an undergraduate degree is required. There are two application deadlines per year: March 15th and October 15th. Students can begin their studies in September or January. Onsite attendance will be required during the summer at ISP Summer School
