Discover new tools for successful ministry and explore church in a different way by developing a team-based set of leadership strategies at this year’s Church Leadership Conference, presented by Kanuga and the Episcopal Church Foundation.
Keynoter Ella Auchincloss with the Leadership Development Initiative of the Diocese of Massachusetts (www.diomassleads.org) will be joined by experts from the Episcopal Church Foundation who will present workshops on a variety of issues facing ministry teams: capital campaigns, stewardship, and planned giving.
Coordinators: Brendon Hunter from the Episcopal Church Foundation and the Rev. Alan Akridge of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Brunswick, GA.
About Ella Auchincloss
Ella Auchincloss is the director of Training and Business Development for ReThink Health. From 2003–2008, Ms. Auchincloss served as treasurer of the Diocese of Massachusetts and also founded the Diomass Leadership Development Initiative, a teaching and coaching program dedicated to deepening congregational leadership capacity for mission and community outreach.
She holds a Masters in Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School and a BS in Finance from Babson College.

COORDINATOR: Brendon Hunter is the assistant program director for Leadership Resources at the Episcopal Church Foundation (ECF). At ECF he works closely with Miguel Escobar and Nancy Davidge on ECF Vital Practices, which includes Vestry Papers, to equip lay and clergy leaders with resources, tools, and inspiration for building up healthy and vital congregations.
In addition to assisting with the ECF’s Fellowship Partners Program, his role is to coordinate ECF’s Education Events, which includes ECF’s in-person presentations and workshops and online web conferences.
COORDINATOR: The Rev. Alan Akridge is a co-director of the Epiphany Institute + Consulting in Hickory, N.C., developed to address congregational development issues not in isolation, but as part of a comprehensive landscape.
He is a practitioner and interpreter of the New Apostolic Era, did postgraduate studies at Wake Forest Divinity School and is currently the rector of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Brunswick, GA.
