Celebrate International Women’s Day in Guatemala!

Join a delegation that will explore history, human rights and social justice in Guatemala. A challenging and rewarding opportunity to learn more about the Guatemalan genocide against the Maya people and the current struggles for justice. Specifically, we will meet with youth at a school founded by a massacre survivor, organizations dedicated to ending impunity for crimes committed against women, human rights organizations charged with accompanying victims of violence and women’s groups in rural communities who are creatively creating a future for their families. We will also be present in Rio Negro for the 32nd anniversary of the massacre of March 13 which claimed the lives of over 175 women and children.

Deadline to apply is December 2, 2013.
