In her 2012 book, The Holy Trinity and the Law of Three: Discovering the Radical Truth at the Heart of Christianity, Cynthia Bourgeault asks us to take a radically new look at the Trinity, moving far beyond the traditional formula of “Father, Son, and Holy Spirit” that Christians mostly recite on autopilot. Embedded within this ancient symbol, she claims, is a powerful metaphysical principle—The Law of Three— that could change our understanding of Christianity and give us the tools so long and so sorely needed to reunite our shattered cosmology, rekindle our visionary imagination, and cooperate consciously with the manifestation of Jesus’ “Kingdom of Heaven” here on earth.
This advanced Wisdom School will be an in-depth exploration of both the theory and practical applications of The Holy Trinity understood as a dynamic mandala of the Law of Three. Morning teaching on theological, historical and mystical aspects of the topic will be complemented by afternoon sessions focusing on practical skill building, applying the Law of Three as a pathway of creative change.
