ATLANTIC THEOLOGICAL CONFERENCE 2013

The 33rd annual “Atlantic Theological Conference” will take place
at Christ Church Cathedral, Fredericton, New Brunswick.
 
Dates: 23 to 26 June, 2013
 
TOPIC: “The Biblical Job: Comfort, Righteousness, Holiness”
Working topics of the papers will include:

  • “The righteousness of Job—What makes Job righteous and his friends not?”
    (The challenge of the Comforters and God’s answer from the whirlwind)
  • “The literary history of Job: From Augustine to Northrop Frye”
  • “Job and Holiness: What the tradition makes of Job, and taking Job into the future”

         and former chaplain at the University of Alberta
