This course looks at issues facing seniors in their everyday lives and how to address the issues that arise as we age. Along with seminary students participants will delve into the tough questions that come with later life. These questions include pondering Medicare and other meds, Assisted Living, driving, Hospice, Fiduciary and other family concerns, and how to grow spiritually and find joy as the years progress. Ghost Ranch offers the perfect venue to study all these constantly changing concerns. Come study with us, and come away with the tools to age and live well. Note: This course will also be taken by seminarians as a way of preparing to minister to this populace in their home parishes. Scholarships are available.

DaveVanArsdaleDave Van Arsdale has been a pastor for 41 years serving churches in five states including the last 8 years as the Pastor at Faith Presbyterian Church in Sun City, Arizona. The Reverend David L. Van Arsdale came to Faith Presbyterian Church in Sun City in 2005 from the 1100 member First Presbyterian Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Rev. Van Arsdale also served in churches in Cleveland (OH), Omaha (NE), Marion (NY), and Framingham (MA). He is a graduate of Andover Newton Theological School and received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Colgate Rochester Divinity School. Dave (as he likes to be called) is highly respected for his thought provoking sermons and compassionate pastoral care. He is an active participant in the Presbyterian Church beyond the local congregation and recently served as member of the Mission Support Services of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Dave is also a pretty good golfer and sometime fisherman.
