A retreat to learn more about the Iona experience and in particular what it is like to be in a family group
based on the Iona community structure.

The retreat is designed to give participants an idea of what it is like to live in community for a week at one of the Iona Centres.It is also designed to give participants a flavour of how a Family Group operates – on the understanding that all groups function in slightly different ways according to size, geography and personality.

The retreat is led by Katherine Rennie who has been an Iona community member for 9 years, having previously been as Associate for 5 years. She has worked for the Community on Iona as a volunteer and as a resident member of staff.

She is a retired solicitor and mediator, and now works with asylum seekers in Glasgow and is a local preacher on the Methodist circuit.

Cost $325 included double occupancy room, board and tuition
