2013 Enneagram Conference: Becoming Conscious

December 5, 2013 – December 8, 2013

Dr. Joe HowellThe Enneagram Conference, led by Dr. Joe Howell, will focus on explicating the wisdom of this spiritual system to those who want to develop their awareness of the graced complexity of human nature and relationships.  Two tracks will be offered, one for beginners and one for those who want to be licensed trainers and/or earn CEUs.

The first track is for beginners, as well as those who have varying degrees of knowledge about the enneagram. This finely designed and exciting track brings the participant all the way from the basics to advanced concepts of this wisdom. Even those with substantial experience with the enneagram will be taken to a new level of awareness. Live lecture, video, small groups, and selected workshops bring this topic in an accelerated and “state of the art” form.

 

The second track is for those who wish to experience the general conference as well as special training to become certified teachers of the enneagram. The training track will be conducted by Dr. Howell personally during supplemental activities at the conference. Certification, granted by the Institute of Conscious Being, is earned after attendance at three more training events held during the next twelve months.
 
Continuing Education Credits are obtainable for Mental Health Professionals whose licensing board will accept hours approved by the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners. Payment for these hours ( approximately 17) is a separate charge of $25.00 to be collected at the time of the conference.
 
  • The intention of this conference is to reveal to the children of God a process of raising consciousness.
  • We also hope to equip those called to be teachers to pass this awareness from generation to generation as a legacy to a world in need of transformation and hope.
  • The conference will introduce the concepts of the enneagram and will focus on their impact in our lives. Attention will be paid to self-reflection and application, body and soul, renewal and transformation.
  • Persons with a desire for their own inner work, those interested in a deeper exploration of the patterns and processes of the enneagram and those who are professional counselors, pastors and spiritual directors will find food for their spirit as well as their vocation. Rev. Susan Sloan

Staff will include Dr. Joe Howell as presenter, the Reverend Susan Sloan as coordinator/chaplain, and among the many returnees from last year are Lark Howell, Nikki Chenault, Susan Murphy, Clay McKinney and Melanie Rodgers. Opportunities to sign up for workshops, investigate the training track and complete enneagram training will be woven into the schedule.
