One description of the original Mi’kmaq name for Tatamagouche is “where the rivers meet.” Through years past, in this beautiful place, rivers and cultures and stories have met and mingled.
This pilgrimage will explore the landscape of Tatamagouche Centre including the prayer garden, trail, creek, cairn, Ross’s point, labyrinth, fireside and waterside. Pilgrims will hear profound stories of origin, of delight and despair, of risk and reconciliation. We will pause along the way for reflection and ritual.
Join the pilgrimage. Immerse yourself body and soul in the experience of being fully present in place. Grounded in the story of the land under our feet and the waters flowing around us, we will journey through the stories told by Tatamagouche and in the place where the rivers meet.

Wilf Bean
Wilf Bean, Program Resource Group (PRG) facilitator. Wilf has a major interest is in transformational adult education for personal and community-based development. He has worked extensively overseas with the Coady International Institute, St Francis Xavier University, throughout Asia, Africa and the Caribbean. He also has a love of music ranging from folk, to bluegrass, spirituals,… you name it. And he has been known to pick away happily on his mandolin, guitar and banjo.
