Salt and Light: A Culturally Relevant Faith
“Being a Christian is less about cautiously avoiding sin than about courageously and actively doing God’s will.” ? Dietrich Bonhoeffer
What is faith?
How can we be salt and light within our own historical context?
Join us for two days of talks with New York Times best-selling author Eric Metaxas, whose keynote at the 2012 National Prayer Breakfast railed against “phony religiosity” and called U.S. lawmakers to take Jesus’s teachings seriously, all while using his trademark wit and humor to keep the audience roaring with laughter.
Metaxas will share the stories of William Wilberforce and Dietrich Bonhoeffer as we explore ways to make our faith culturally relevant.
