What Frederic and Mary Ann Brussat started forty years ago — through the Cultural Information Service and Living Room Learning newsletters in the 1970s and 1980s, Values & Visions magazine in the 1990s, and the publication of the books Spiritual Literacy in 1996 and Spiritual Rx in 1999 — all came together in 2006 when they launched SpiritualityandPractice.com. Since then the website has grown into a robust resource center with more than 40,000 pages of content. And in our ongoing evolution, it has blossomed into The Center for Spirituality & Practice located in Claremont, California.
The center is on the second floor of a spacious building adjacent to and affiliated with the interfaith-oriented Claremont School of Theology. Now students, professors, and volunteers are able to interact with our staff and our extensive library, making our wisdom archive part of their career paths as well as their spiritual journeys.
(Editor’s Note: Potential students should note that the orientation of this organization is much wider than traditional Christian practices and teachings).
