The School of Applied Theology is a holistic Sabbatical program which offers a unique opportunity for mid-life Christians from around the world to renew themselves for the Church of tomorrow.
We prepare persons for leadership in the areas of spirituality, pastoral ministries and adult religious education.
At the same time, we provide a supportive setting enriched by dialogue among lay persons, religious and clergy.

Union, Berkeley. SAT is incorporated in the state of California. SAT is also affiliated with the Institute of Pastoral Studies at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois.
