Native Ministries Consortium Summer School:

The Native Ministries Consortium Summer School is a program of the Vancouver School of Theology.

If you are interested in delving deeper into your faith and exploring difficult issues in relating faith and culture, the Native Ministries consortium Summer School is the place for you!

Native Ministries Consortium (NMC) Summer School courses are non-sectarian and inter-disciplinary. Courses focus on historical and social data, exploring literary-oral traditions, artistic and other cultural aspects of indigenous cultures. As well, courses examine the philosophical and theological dimensions of aboriginal thought. They are also fun!

You are welcome to attend! All interested people – clergy and lay – are welcome to participate in NMC Summer School, which is a joint venture of the Anglican Diocese of Caledonia, United Church BC conference Native Ministries Division, Episcopal Diocese of Alaska and Vancouver School of Theology.

The purpose of the consortium is to develop, under Native direction, community-based training programs for Native ministries, both lay and ordained.
