A Course for New Bishops:
A course designed to be led for bishops by bishops
Course Description:
The course aims to investigate the different challenges faced by those in the early years of their Episcopal Ministry. Newly-appointed Bishops come from all corners of the Anglican Communion to share their experiences in the company of more senior bishops during their time in Canterbury.
The aim of the course is to help equip individuals in their ministry by exploring the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for today’s Anglican bishops.
A Course For Seminarians And Clergy In The Early Years Of Their Ministry:
A course focussing on the rich traditions of cultures and spirituality in the Anglican Community. Guided by an international faculty, students are encouraged to share their own experiences of the Anglican Communion and reflect on these against the background of the life of Canterbury Cathedral.
The course has two pillars:
Intensive academic course work and group reflection
Attendance at the Cathedral’s two daily offices and the Eucharist.
Funding Grants:
Some financial assistance may be available, especially for students from the Global South.
