Benetvision:

Benetvision – a point of view with the future in mind

Benetvision: research and resources for contemporary spirituality

A ministry of the Benedictine Sisters of Erie, PA

Welcome to Benetvision:

Benetvision was made for you. We’re glad to see you here. The marketplace is full of materials designed to meet every circumstance in life. Except the spiritual. But ironically enough, it’s the spiritual ones tht pursue us even when we don’t pursue them. It’s the spiritual ones that plague us for answers even in the midst of plenty. The fact is that people are far more interested in the great questions of life than they are in the small ones about making a living.

Here at Benetvision we hope to be able to provide resources that will give depth and meaning in the midst of change and confusion. So we want to serve you but we also want to hear from you. We want to know what you’re looking for as you move from one stage to another in your life.

We’ll try to update the page regularly so that you can always find something worth thinking about when you visit us. Come often. We look forward to it. We’ll be waiting for you. And if you can ever visit the monastery in person, we’d like that most of all.

“When anyone comes,” the rule of Benedict says, “say ‘Benedicite.'” – Say, in other words, “thanks be to God.” We’re thankful for your questions, for your visits, for your support. We take them as signs of God’s work in a great and growing present. Joan Chittister, OSB, Executive Director.
